Holiday makers
The "Termas da Azenha" is in fact a little village, with 7 buildings, of which the bathing-establishment is the center. Our guests stay in an apartment, a studio, a guestroom, a hotelroom or find a place on the premises with their camper, caravan or tent. (see: Accommodation for photos). Our guests are holidaymakers, people who must not and may do a lot, but we presume that you, as a potential guest, know very well how to celebrate your holiday.
If you wish to know about the possibilities to make daytrips in the surroundings, we ask you to click on environment. There you will find a listing of daytrips within easy reach. You can take the train or bus, for example to Coimbra (the famous university) or Figueira da Foz (the beach). The station is at a distance of only 500 m. Walking or biking takes you through some of the nicest and quietest landscapes of the area, beautiful sights, castles or convents nearby.

You can have it on a joint table in the diningroom in our main bath house or in summertime outside on the patio in the Filosofical Garden. You can also join us for a common meal at your own table .
We kindly request you to notify us before 12:00am at the reception or in the kitchen. You will find the menu on the blackboard near the kitchen.

For rent
You can rent a Peugeot 206 with us, price per day 25€ . If desired, you can state with your reservation if you would like to use the car. We ask you to give a bond of 250€. If you prefer a fly & drive, we advise you to book a car in combination with your flight ticket.
You can deliver your laundry for 5€ a load.
Sundries
In the Filosofical Garden you will find a patio where you can enjoy a drink or two in a nice atmosphere. You are welcome every day untill 10pm when the café closes.
On sundaymornings there is a traditional, typical Portuguese market in Lourical, 14 km from here.

As we make use of a septic tank we would like to ask you to please use biological detergent to do the dishes, which you can find in the kitchen. This way the living and cleaning bacteria within this tank stay alive and will be able to perform their duty and clean our waste waters. After this natural cleaning process the clear water spills from the tank into the ditch in the fields. On behalf of the frogs, the langoustines and the fish, we ask you to use as little soap or detergent as possible. If you do use them please try to use biological products as much as possible. We do our utmost to respect the nature around us, without compromising in comfort and facilities.
All bedsheets, linen and kitchencloths are included. If you stay longer than a week, we put on clean linen on Saturdaymorning. Before we settle the final bill, we will do a final check in your accommodation to make sure that it is nice and clean. You can settle your final bill with the owner, at the reception.
In the village there is a little shop/café, where you can change your gasbottle. Butane gas is +/- 25,- euro per bottle. You can do some shopping there, too. You find some big supermarkets in Soure (Ecomarché), Lavos (Ecomarché) or in Figueira da Foz (LeClerc, Lidl, Plus, Intermarché, Pingo Doce). There are cash machines too.
The baker comes by every day at 7:00 am, except in winter and on sunday. You can tell us what you want to have, we´ll pass it on, and you can fetch your order at the kitchen.
