Guestcook

During the season, we cook 4 days a week for guests: from Saturday till Tuesday. Always with fresh vegetables from our own garden, with healthy meat and fresh fish. We do one menu, every day a different one.  You can indicate if you join us in the vegetarian dish, or that you prefer meat or fish.

The cook creates the menu. We have guestcooks during the Summer, some 6 or 7 persons, which take their expertise and special recipees with them. If you are interested in being a guestcook with us, please let us know (info@termas-da-azenha.com). It is minimum for 2 weeks. In exceptional cases, a person cooks only once. Those are exceptional nights, when we eat exceptionally delicious!

Guestcooks are people who love to cook, and like to cook for groups of people. Sometimes people have problems with the idea of a large number of people to cook for, because they never did that. No problem whatsoever, the owner has much experience in cooking for groups. She will be a great coach. You could also experiment a bit, making things you always wanted to make, but never had the time for. When you apply, please note, that we only speak English or Dutch in the kitchen, but all nationalities are welcome.

 Olive trees

Our olivetrees are pruned. It has been quite a job, but a Portuguese family did it with experience and passion. They have adopted the trees, and will get the first azeite virgem, in two years. We´ll keep you informed through the Newsletters, but for the time being it will be a matter of patience. They have to grow first.
